Well long story short, I’M BACK! Oh boy do I have a lot that happened, including a brand-new novel that I’m super excited about – but I’m getting ahead of myself.
I work as a Registered Nurse, and I chose to step away for a bit to peruse my master’s degree in nursing. Amidst that time, COVID happened. And in the nursing profession, let me tell you, IT HAPPENED. Where many people were spending their time able to finally write that novel, nurses were all hands on deck.
I also decided it was a good idea to buy my first home in the midst of all that because, apparently, I didn’t have enough else to do.
It honestly took me some time, a bit of serious soul searching, and a few major life changes in order to find the space for my creativity again, but oh boy did I.
I may not have had the band width to continue to peruse my business in writing for a while, but after I graduated and had a chance to sit in my creativity again, I found a whole new novel in me – Project Spark.
I’m so excited about this one. It’s my first contemporary romance, and writing if flowed out of me like this was the genre I have been missing all along. Please check out the My Books section to read more about it.
Writing a love story after coming out of such a dark and busy time was truly a breath of fresh air. All I wanted was for my characters to get everything they ever wanted and to live happily ever after. Well, maybe they did, maybe they didn’t, but either way they learned so much about themselves and grew in ways even I didn’t expect.
I’m currently seeking literary representation for Project Spark, as I continue to write my next novel, another love story. I’m so excited about this new direction and I’ll keep you posted along the way.
